Thursday Thirteen #25

Thirteen Things I've Been for Halloween
(Yes, I stole this idea from Diva Lia)
*****************************************

1. Red Riding Hood

2. Bunny

3. French Maid ** I went to a party in 11th grade dressed like this. Funny, but I do remember getting a lot of male attention that night. LOL!

4. Witch

5. Nurse

6. A box of Spic & Span **creative--but a pain in the butt to walk around in.

7. Little Bo Peep

8. Hobo **this used to be very popular. I guess it's not PC anymore. :)

9. Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz

10. Sandy from Grease **NOT the sexy Sandy.

11. 1920's Flapper

12. Pink Poodle

13. and President Reagan **When I came into school that day, I found out my friend had dressed up as a sheik/Arab (complete with stereotypical head turban and dark sunglasses). People wanted us to pose, shaking hands all day--like we were at a Peace Summit. LOL!

**************************************

Whew! Are you dressing up this year?

We haven't done Halloween for thirty years, but I do remember dressing up once as Patti Labelle in her "space age" days with the group, LaBelle.

That last one is HILARIOUS!!!! Great list.
I don't remember most of mine. But I want a French Maid's costume. Just not for Halloween. *wink*

It's been awhile since I dressed up for Halloween. I'm usually too busy making costumes for a couple of girls who change their minds umpteen times. lol Happy T13!

I'm not dressing up, but I have to take my black cat to the vet that day so I might put a white belt on him and tell everyone he's an oreo.

The Reagan thing is too funny. I finally came up with a costume last night. I am going to be a romance novelist. I have a tasteful negligee that I am going to wear and carry around a notepad waiting for inspiration. That is what everyone thinks we do anyway.

Nothing! I'll be drinking! This is the first year in 16 we won't have to take a trick - or treater around, our youngest is going with her friends.

I haven't worn a costume since I dressed as Princess Di years ago (when she was still alive). Now I like to wear a sparkly headband with bouncy velvet bats to embarrass my kids when I help out at their school parties.

Very cute! We're going to Octoberfest in Franklin, TN Saturday and I'm just wearing my pumpkin shirt. Punky is going to be an adorable fairy and Chicken is....well, chicken little. ;o)

I probably won't be dressing up. Last year at work we came as the Village People. I was the cop. It was highly embarrassing.

I'm not even sure my kids are dressing up this year. I keep asking what they want and they shrug and go "I du no."

I'm such a costume addict! I love them! We're going to be pirates. Speaking of which I really need to take my skinny little guy's costume in!

I should, I really should dress up this year....

I dressed up as Sandy too! But I went for the sexy Sandy. Unfortunately I really couldn't pull off those leather pants *sigh*

One year I went as a Geisha girl (I was about 10 and NO ONE was a Geisha girl in those days!) Borrowed a pair of my sister's silk pj's and stuck a pair of knitting needles in a bun in my hair. I won first prize in a contest.

This year, I'm the Energizer bunny. I keep going and going and going...

Interesting list! I never dress up. It's not something I've ever gotten in to.

What a fun list of costumes! I never dress up any more. I think my favorite was the headless horseman -- only done in an English riding outfit with one of my dad's white shirts buttoned over my head. =)

Fun! My TT is dog costumes, since I don't dress up...
