The ol' broken bone story, eh? W...Wow - and ow! The ol' broken bone story, eh? Well, I once fell during an episode of Dawson's Creek. I hurt my arm, but came back to work the next day after the X-ray, which showed nothing but a hurt wrist. Several weeks later, my arm was still giving me random pains, and I stepped in a hole coming off a different set of steps on the same trailer, and when my foot went in the hole it didn't fit right and my ankle took my full descending weight - SPRAIN! - is that even a sound effect? - and I soon had a foot and ankle roughly three times larger than normal. I was put on office duty with crutches, and dutifully made my way into the production office each day for ten hours of busy work for several straight days. More weeks pass, I get off the crutches, and while cheering on my son's wrestling match, my mother-in-law slapped my lower arm when something exciting happened, and I screamed like a little girl. Back to the doctor, who now X-Rayed much further up my arm - turns out there was a break just below the elbow on my left (and dominant) arm, and it had been there since the initial fall, INCLUDING THE TIME ON CRUTCHES! - no wonder I hated them so bad! I finally ended up having to wear this electromagnetic belt/arm band combo that promoted the bone to finally heal. But from beginning to end that all covered something like September - May.
