YES! I do the same. Before I leave any new place, I have to find a Christmas store and buy an ornament. I even make dh buy them when he goes away on business. I buy them every year when I go to the RWA conferences, too! Great list, with some excellent places!

What a kewl idea. My ornaments consist of hand me downs from my parents and homemade decorations from the kids throughout the years. Happy Holidays!

Those are great! Such a nice memento from your vacations.

Since I don't travel anywhere, I'd love to get one from Las Vegas, Hawaii, Egypt, Bali, and Bora Bora. :)

Red Lodge? You must have head coming or going from Yellow Stone.

We tend to collect fridge magnets from places we travel. Ornaments we try to collect from people we know. Our tree is very eclectic. When we have a holiday party, we ask people to bring an ornament for the tree. We've gotten some VERY interesting ones this way.

Happy TT! Mine's up over at: http://impulsivehearts.wordpress.com

Great pics! Yes, we do the same thing - it's fun and we all get involved in picking the ornament that we feel personifies the trip.

My husband and I started collecting ornaments on our travels years ago, but we haven't traveled as much as we thought we would so there aren't that many from trips. As an alternate, we hit the after christmas sales and pick ornaments that are particularly endearing for each of us. We started our kids' own collections by getting them ornaments each year as well.
