More Random Facts

IN THE NEWS: According to World Magazine, "An envelope a McDonald's employee in Norwich, CT, picked up while walking in December turned out not to be trash; it contained a check for $185,000. But instead of trying to cash it, the man --who receives food stamps--took the bus to the bank to return the check to a woman who had written on it. For his honesty, the woman rewarded him with a $50 bill."

Ah, it's that time again. Author Lainey Bancroft has tagged me to name seven random facts about myself. Sheesh.

I'M JUST NOT THAT INTERESTING, PEOPLE!

But here goes anyway...

1) I'm a cleaning junkie. I recently bought a vacuum and as soon as we came home, and I had to put it together and use it right away. Not to mention the blissful "high" I got when I saw that the dust cup was almost full after vacuuming just two rooms. It's a sickness. I know.

2) I just painted my master bathroom. I wanted caramel. I got...burnt sienna/orange. Not sure I like it, but I am wondering what the hubby will think when he sees it. I really don't feel like re-painting it.

3) I can't stand apple cider, yet I do like apples. Go figure.

4) I confess there is one little boy in my daughter's kindergarten class who drives me absolutely nutso. One might even call him... a punk. (Not me) Another mother. But I didn't disagree. I feel a little guilty about that, too.

5) Little things fluster me. Yet, if there's a major emergency, I'm told I'm a good "go-to" person.

6) Some books can really affect and stay with me, which is why I will never read The Kite Runner.

7) I been really good about going to the gym more this year. I think it's all due to my IPod. Working out is definitely more fun now.

Well, that's it. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz

But I think I'll tag some people who need something to do: Chelle, Debora and Cyn.

Have a good weekend!

Not snoring. :)

Wouldn't feel guilty for agreeing a punk kid was a punk. Face it, some of 'em are!

Your #7 made me feel pretty darn guilty though. Man, can't seem to get the butt in gear at all in that regard. Maybe I should go shopping, buy myself an IPod????

LOL! It's not like I owe you any crits or anything! ;)

I did the same when we bought our new vac and carpet cleaning machine. I'm painting and thought I bought a light taupe...it has a lavender look?!? *sigh* Oh well. Guess I have to buy new curtains. ;)

We're so much alike it's scary....only I'm DEFINITELY not a clean freak! We're putting our house on the market today, so it's definitely NOT something I'm looking forward to with two kids. Keeping a house spotless for showings is a nightmare.

Call me crazy, but if someone found and gave back my $185,000 I might cough up more than $50.

Just sayin.

That cleaning thing? Definitely a sickness.

So what did hubby think about an orange room?

The person who got the money back was cheap but, feels mean. So perhaps she had an obligation that amounted to $184,950, and it was all she could spare.
