Spring in India

IN THE NEWS: According to World Magazine, "Rollie Fingers need not apply. India's state owned airline grounded a flight steward for having too large a mustache. Now the nations' Supreme Court is hearing the wrongful termination case brought by the man, who says Indian Airlines has no right to fire him for the oversized handlebar stache."

Hey, did you know that on March 21st a spring festival is celebrated in India? It's a day of fun, and people run through the streets and throw colored water and bright-colored powders on each other. (Uh...pass.) They play Holi by throwing water balloons and smearing washable dyes on friends and family. (Hmmm... also pass.) They also build a huge bonfire the night before made of dried leaves and branches. (Ok. Maybe)

Well, I don't know if I'll go through all that, but I am ready for spring here in my neck of the woods. Although I'm not so sure I'm ready for spring break. Today marks the first day of a looooooong spring break for the kiddo, too, which means my writing time goes down drastically.

Thus, before the kiddo wakes up, I will 1) blog (as you can see), 2) create a marketing plan for my book, and 3) squeeze in a few hundred words in writing. (My goals are LOW)

Have a good weekend!
