Oh, Blog! I'm feeling Twittery and Spacey!
IN THE NEWS: Police say woman used fake ID to get fake breasts. Read more HERE.
I can't take it anymore.
Lately, I've been feeling this...pressure to go on Twitter and Facebook. And when I say "pressure", I mean I'm getting "nagged".
I'm on MySpace and I blog. What more do you want from me? BLOOD??
Do I really need another mode of intergalactic cyber travel?
Oh, man, I hope not. I barely keep up with MySpace as it is. (Ooops. There's a confession that slipped out.) By the way, is MySpace "out"now or is it sort of the same as Facebook? I really don't know, nor am I sure I want to invest the time to find out.
I'm all for online "presence" and promotion, but where do you draw the line? Do you draw a line?
I took this incredibly scientific online quiz to help me figure out what I am: a Facebook, Myspace or Twitter.
Apparently, I'm a Facebook.
Figures.
You Are Facebook |
You are social, outgoing, and excited to connect to your friends. You are interested in your friends' lives, and you enjoy adding your opinion to the mix. While you enjoy sharing online, you don't want everyone to know your business. You value your privacy. Your life is an open book to those you know but not to strangers. |
What are you?
Do you do ALL of these?

Funny new story!!! Maybe I'll try that.
The only reason I joined MySpace and Facebook was because I was getting nagged. All of a sudden my Facebook has gotten so busy, I don't have time to respond.
If I had a book out, then I would force myself to be "friendlier," but right now I need to concentrate on writing and on my blog.
IMO, Twitter is just plain annoying to me ...
I love Twitter! I like it more than Facebook or Myspace - it's just so much easier and so much less work. I have FB and MS, but don't pay that much attention to them these days. Once I have a date for my book release, I'll get more active.
No, I'm accessible on them and sometimes comment and read stuff, but for the most part I stick to the blogsosphere.
I did MySpace first but just got a facebook and like it a lot better.
I feel that pressure too. Resist, resist!
No, seriously, decide what's right for you. I figure I'll Facebook, and maybe reluctantly Twitter, when I have a book to promote. And that very unscientific quiz says I'm a Twitter, describing me as hyperactive with a short attention span. NOT!
Deborah made me join Twitter. At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it! I haven't done anything with it yet, but I'm afraid to. It might be addictive!
Isn't this world just full of too many time killing experiences as it is? lol. I love to follow people on twitter. I however just blog and like you have a nearly defunct myspace. I do have facebook, and you know what? I for sure don't have time for it. I like bloging there seems to be a conection you get with either myspace or facebook. What's next? interfacing in real life? Gasp!
I did Facebook and MySpace because I was nagged into them. As for Twitter, I started because I was curious. My MySpace page gets almost no action - it all seems to be on Facebook and Twitter. I don't know if that's just where my friends are more active, too, or if it's just that the general population is moving that way.
I passionately love twitter. I kinda like Facebook, but my life doesn't revolve around it like some peoples do. hehe And I could really take myspace or leave it. I do have accounts everywhere, but I really don't invest much time into them. Well...except twitter. I'm quite twitterpated with twitter.
