Summer Movie Buzz

IN THE NEWS: NY toddler is a cue-ball wizard at pool table. Read more HERE.

I had a fantastic weekend! Why? FOUR parties in four days of course!

Nuff said. :)

(I've completely blown my diet, but I'm back in the saddle today.)

Anyhew, last night the hubby and I decided to watch some TV and we caught the movie: The Taking of Pelham 123. It was really intense. But I was interested in watching it because the remake (which I want to see) is coming out this summer with John Travolta and Denzel Washington. Should be really good!

And I REALLY want to take the kiddo to the see the new Disney movie: Up.
Oh, my goodness, the trailer totally cracks me up! I think I want to see it more than my daughter. How sad is that?

Other than those two, I didn't see anything else that piqued my interest out of all the movies coming out. Maybe Land of the Lost. But I'm on the fence. The previews haven't sold me.

How about you? Are you looking forward to seeing any movies this summer?

Our theater does free kid movies a few times a week in the summer, so I'm looking forward to that. The kids are finally old enough to sit still (I hope, lol).
Wow, I didn't know you were such a party girl! LOL

Only one party for us, a birthday celebration for my former next door neighbor, but it was great.

We always wait until movies come to the dollar theater. It takes about three months. I REALLY want to see "Star Trek" and Tyler Perry's "I Can Do Bad by Myself."

I don't have any ideas! I'd love to hear everyone's comments! I've buried my head in my book and the edits over the past week and so feel like I'm out of touch with the world! I'll be back later to hear what everyone says because when I'm done frying my brain, I'll be ready for mindless entertainment!

I must see Land of the Lost. I had a LOTL lunch box as a kid.

Jennifer, hubby and I were just saying the other night that it's been a long while since anything has caught our attention in the big screen listing. Probably a good thing since I have to save for a flight to Denver yet. But kind of sad at the same time.

I wonder why nothing's appealing to us lately?

I want to see Up, too, but it's not out yet and we're doing the movie thing tomorrow with my oldest daughter and maybe my nephew so I think we'll see Night at the Museum 2. I hope it's good.

I am not too excited about any of the summer movies coming out, which is good because my husband and I don't get out too the movies that much anyway. The only one that looks pretty good is the Katherine Heigl romantic comedy - I'll probably waiting for it to come out on DVD though.
