WIP #11

IN THE NEWS: Woman accused of assaulting bus driver with change. Read more HERE.

Tomorrow is the last day of school and I didn't finish my book as planned.

DRAT!

Unfortunately I ran into quite a few unavoidable road blocks this week. One of them being my mom.

PS. Don't tell her I called her a road block :)

It's okay, though. I made my peace with it. And I'm confident that once I get the kiddo situated with her summer activities, I can crank out the rest.

But here's what I have so far:

46017 / 50000 words. 92% done!

92%. Oh, so close and yet so far... *sigh*

Mom is still here, so I gotta run.

Hey, how was your progress?

Okay, I changed my mind about this blog make-over. It scared me a little today. lol

You almost made it, but you might send the little road block out on play dates and knock out that last eight percent while she's cavorting with friends ...

Jennifer, you're sooooo close! You'll get it done in no time now.

Since I've been preparing for conference my new story has been put aside for a bit. I'm really looking forward to getting back into it next week on a regular basis.

Jennifer, you brought up an interesting point. People, even though we may love them, can be road blocks on our writing path. Hmmmm...I'm thinking.

Jennifer: I think 92% is great, especially with a kid and a mom! HA!

My WIP has been sitting at 17% forever, since I'm slogging away at proposals and other road blocks, like a day job.

You are doing wonderfully, lady!

You almost did it! It won't take you long to finish now! Hope you can figure out a routine so that you can still have some writing time! I just have to work around the kids a bit, and deal with lots of interruptions! But I still manage to make slow but steady progress!
