Taggerific!

IN THE NEWS: W.Va. woman wins her 9th big lottery prize. Read more here.

I'm feeling MUCH better today!
In fact, I'm feeling terrific and I've been tagged by writer friend Glynis Smy, so you might say I'm feeling taggerific
(hence my title)

I know, I know. That was bad. I blame the medicine I'm on. :)

Anyhew...

Here are the rules:
1. Link to the person or persons who tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Write six random and/or revealing things about yourself.
4. Tag six people at the end of your post and link to them.
5. Let each person know they’ve been tagged and leave a comment on their blog
6. Let the tagger know when your post entry is up on your site.

So here we go. Six Random/Revealing Things About Myself:

1) I vacuum too much.
I admit it. I vacuum everyday to every other day. It's not OCD, but it is a sickness of some kind. But then again, I have off-white carpets.

2) I believe airplanes, hospitals, dentists, and potty-training are just necessary evils in this world.

3) I have a VERY hard time telling people no when asked to do things.

4) I'm exactly half Polish and half Lithuanian.

5) In my last year of college, I decided I wanted to either go to medical school or continue to get my doctorate in pharmacy. But my dad cut off my funds and made me graduate with a BS. Otherwise, I would have easily been content to become a professional student for the rest of my life. :)

6) I LOVE to try new foods. Whenever I'm at a fancy restaurant, I usually try to order the most unusual entree I can find.

Well, that's all for me. I'm just not that exciting. But maybe these people will be:
1) Diane Craver
2) Debora Dennis
3) Kristen Painter
4) Chicki Brown
5) Kate Karyus Quinn
6) Stephanie Griffin

Check out their random facts about themselves in a few days and see if I'm right. :)

Hi Jennifer thanks for playing tag! It was interesting to learn more about you.
I had to smile at your Dad cutting off funds, we had to do the same with one of our 3. When DH studied to be a Pharmacist his mum was a widow, so the government supported him in those days. Our future daughter in law, qualified last year and her debts were a little large, she worked hard a paid it off. Her new Pharmacist post in October will be in Canada, so she had to do the exams for entrance there!

I could use your vaccuuming dilemma. My carpet has shavings from the hampster and guinea pig cages on it all the time.

That sounds good to me. :-) btw, I vaccum like that too. I can't stand to see stuff on my carpet. *shiver*
BUT, I never, ever try new foods at a restaurant. LOL Not as daring and exciting as you are. Heeeeheeee.

If I weren't about to get on a plane to DC, I'd play!

Hi Jennifer! First of all, thanks for following :) It's good to know I'm in good company with trying new foods. I love trying new food! I look for new recipes all the time (I'm slightly addicted to Food Network!).

Kristen: You're off the hook. :)

Jennifer: I'm a little addicted to the Food Network, too. (shhh!)

Thanks a lot, girl! Now I have to sit down and think about what I haven't told before...

I'm going out with Deborah today to book the room for her launch party and get stuff to make her bookmarks. Will post tomorrow.

Thanks for tagging me Jennifer! I haven't had much to blog about lately, so this gives me something to do!

Jennifer:
I should be so blessed to vaccuum even every other day! Once my son moves out, I will have to do it, or see if my hus. is willing...

I too, love to try new foods. Do you think women do that more than men? My husband sticks with his favorites.

Thanks for sharing,
Jen

Enjoyed your list of six! It's a nice way to get to know fellow bloggers. I can relate to number one, lol. At least it's a good excuse to contemplate!

I am glad you are feeling better. I like your list of random things, especially your compulsion to vacuum. Mine is to have everything neat and organized, not a paper or pot or knick knack out of place or on the floor. LOL

Your list of necessary evils matches mine exactly! Love your blog, by the way.

Thanks for the tag!

I love number five about wanting to be a professional student - if I could afford it that would totally have been my calling as well!
