Conference Time!

IN THE NEWS: US woman falls off cliff when beau proposes marriage. Read more HERE.

Yes, it's conference time. No, not writing conference time, though.

I'm packing up to go the
Women of Faith Conference this weekend.

Here's a little of what it's all about:

"Make plans now to be part of Women of Faith's 2009 event, A Grand New Day. This exciting 2-day event is a mix of laughter, music, and stories that will touch your heart. Bring your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors—any woman you know who needs a new perspective . . . a new enthusiasm . . . A Grand New Day.

“The Lord's love never ends; his mercies never stop. They are new every morning . . .” Lamentations 3:22-23 NCV

Join Steven Curtis Chapman, "American Idol" finalist Mandisa, Nicole C. Mullen, Sandi Patty, Lisa Harper, Lisa Whelchel (from TV's "The Facts of Life"), Sheila Walsh, Patsy Clairmont, Marilyn Meberg, Luci Swindoll, and more!

Over the course of the two-day event you'll hear fabulous music, watch stirring drama, listen to hilarious and heart-tugging stories, and join thousands of women in worship. Events are scheduled across the country. Don't wait!
Register for A Grand New Day today!"

I'm excited! I so need this right now.

What are your plans this weekend?

I've got a pool party on Sunday. Besides that I need to get a proposal done and a one-sheet. *groan*

My oldest daughter went to WOF last year and really enjoyed it.

Let this be a time of refreshing, restoration and rejoicing!

Enjoy! I see that they were in my city last month, but I never saw or heard a word about it. Looks like a great conference.

Sounds like fun! We all need a little female bonding time. My boyfriend is off on a business trip tonight, some conference in Atlanta. He'll be back tomorrow afternoon. Had dinner with the parents and now am washing all my winter clothes from last year to take to see if the used clothing store will buy some of them so I can get $ for new clothes!
