This, a Winner, and That Part 5

MOOD STATUS: "Busy". Trying to finish up judging my RWA chapter's romance writing contest.

Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by Writer Routine Wednesday to say hi and hear about Eileen's writing routine! Eileen was really feeling the love.

But, yes, now the important part: the book winner. :)

The winner of Eileen Cook's book GETTING REVENGE ON LAUREN WOOD is...

Samantha Bennett!

Congrats!

Please e-mail me where you'd like the book sent and I'll send it on to Eileen ASAP.

And now for the this and that...

I've been on a fresh flower kick these past few weeks. I've been clipping a lot from my garden and putting them into vases all around my house. It just makes me happy to look at them. Like a little pick-me-up. :)

Now, I didn't grow these sunflowers but when I saw them on sale at the supermarket, I HAD to have them. HAD TO HAVE THEM, I tells ya!

Don't they make the kitchen cheery?

That's all for me.

Mom is coming to visit today and she's bringing my niece, so I need to tidy up a bit.

Have a great weekend!

The sunflowers are gorgeous. I love how flowers can make me feel happy. And the smell of a gardenia can transcend me.

Beautiful Jennifer and I adore the bench seating. FABULOUS!

I cut wildflowers out of our field and set them on the counter. Also, clip flowers alongside the house, but the 'season' for fresh cut flowers only lasts about 2 months here. After that it's not so great.

Hope you enjoy your visit with your mom and niece.

Sunflowers are puuurty!!! ;-) I love flowers. They always add that something extra special to a room (and it's not just their wonderful smell)

Have a great weekend!

Yeah, I get to see my mom soon too! And cheery is the word I'd use, yes.

I'm a little sad about all the brown grass we have around here.

Love the flowers, they look straight out of a van Gogh painting! My daughters grow a zinnia garden, and they make great cut flowers, right into the autumn.

Such pretty flowers! I don't have anything living in my house other than humans and a fish. I tend to kill anything green. :-)

Have fun with your family!

Love your sunflowers. The old man on the small holding opposite my house has a huge row of them. He grows them for the seed. I love looking out at them.

Have a great time with your visitors.
