I love your comparison to paper letters/mail. Perfect. Your posts have been great!

Sadly, I do think paper books will disappear. No, letters and cards haven't totally disappeared...yet. They are dying a slow death though. The post office will go, making it impossible or too expensive to send a lowly card or letter and that will be the end. We didn't think we'd see the end of records...but we have. We didn't think we'd see the end of CD's but they are almost gone. I don't want it to happen, but I do think there will be a time that the only way we can read is by computer.

Impressive stats, sort of gives the little guy hope. I sure do miss getting real letters though :)

Merry Christmas!

I haven't yet got myself an ereader but, like many, plan to in the near future. Like cell-phones, I believe ereaders will become a staple in ones life, however will not completely replace the paper books unless environmentally we HAVE to one day.

I'm running way behind, but I'm heading over :)

The nice thing about ereaders is you can get the book NOW. No ordering and waiting for the mailman or having to drive to the bookstore. :D
