Oh lice! Just remember after this... hair products. When I taught special ed, I had a little one who always seemed to have lice. My hair dresser said as long I use hair products, like spray and such, I should be fine. I also used hair spray on my son's hair since he would come to my classroom before and after school... it's amazing! ;)
Oh dear, what a bummer! My head is itchy now just thinking about it. Funny how that always happens, isn't it? Hope you have a nice time away and kill all those little buggers! :)
Oh girl...hugs and more hugs for you. I Loathe lice. Seriously. They love my hair. I also hear hair spray scares them away. Plus, read an interesting article about the hair dryer and how the air pressure (not heat) kills the lice and eggs. Good luck and see you later!
Hope you're enjoying your vacation. Thought I would drop in to say that my sister sent my wife a recipe recently for wasabi cream. My wife followed it to your blog and realized it was a writer's blog. She asked me, "Do you know Jennifer Shirk?" "I follow her blog," I responded.
USA Today bestselling and award-winning sweet romance author for Montlake Romance, and Entangled Publishing.
Loves the Red Sox and has been on a serious exercise kick. But don't hold those last two against her. :)

Neither my wife nor my sister are writers.
Oh, I remember those days, and my girls all have very long hair. Scratching my own scalp now, just thinking of this.
Hope all goes well for you, Jennifer! Look forward to visiting again when you're back!
