Gone Shopping!

Hey, all!

Well, the Christmas Tree is officially up and the house is decorated. FINALLY!

I had a little bit of trouble getting into the spirit initially. I think it's because it's been so unseasonably warm.
But for someone who's been a bit of a Grinch, I sure bedazzled my house!! I had no idea I had it in me!:)

Anyhew, my church's Advent Luncheon went off wonderfully, thanks for asking. I actually had four women request my Caesar dressing recipe. Yes, it's THAT good.

So now, I'm off to get some shopping done...um, since I have yet to start.

Catch up with you all later.

How about you, is your tree up yet?

Like you, I just haven't been able to get into the festive spirit... and I've usually got all my decorations up (com hell or high water!) on 1st December! I don't know what's wrong with me this year... how did you do it??

Tree?! Dear Lord, it's December already, isn't it. I'm still in denial over here. Haven't bought one gift yet. Sigh.

Glad you Luncheon went so well.

So you leave the rest of us hanging on the dressing recipe, not cool!! lol

I have tons of shopping to do and it's barfing buckets of rain. Great imagery, huh?

Have fun, don't forget to buy yourself a few gifts while you're at it!!

Oh, man! You are so far ahead of me. We haven't even put the tree up yet, much less dragged all the other decorations up from the basement.

Have fun shopping! :)

We finally put it up last night. The kids are thrilled!

Now all that's left is stringing the lights around the house. Hope hubby's up for the challenge:)

The tree is assembled now just needs some baubles. That will take place during this week.

Yes! We got our tree up this weekend (which is early for us) and some decorations, too. Now I have to clean the house because somehow we always make a mess of everything else when we try to decorate. Go figure.

Excellent about your Caesar dressing recipe! Wanna come do my house and tree? Everything is still in the attic. But I have finished shopping!

Yes, tree is up! My three little elves did most of the decorating. It's so much fun with them!
I have maybe 1/3 of shopping done. Need to get on it!

I don't celebrate the holiday, so no trees and Advent Luncheons for me. But I do have Hanukkah to deal with, and have begun buying presents.

Happy December!

So, where's OUR copy of that recipe?

I'm actually farther ahead on Christmas preparations than I usually am by this time of year. All the out- of-town packages and all the Christmas cards have been mailed, and I only have two more people to shop for. YAY! Oh, and our cats. Their noses will be out of joint if there isn't something for them under the tree, too ...

Tree is up, shopping is NOT done. Sounds like you're having a good December so far. *grin*

My tree is up! Hooray! And the shopping is coming along, but slowly. I'd better hurry, or I'll be stressed next week (last week the kids are in school). ;)

I haven't decorated yet. Maybe this weekend. I did get most of the shopping done though.
