Tick Tock Tick Tock

Cookies Left to Make: Chocolate Chip
Gifts left to Buy: FIVE
Gifts left to Wrap: SIXTEEN

Hi, all!
The kiddo was home sick with Step ALL WEEK last week so I was basically held hostage and could not get done my Christmas shopping. But I hope to finish up between today and tomorrow.

I had my COOKIES FOR CASH cookie swap last Thursday. I did NOT win. :(
I came in second. Again. Always a bridesmaid and never a blah, blah, I guess.

In case you're curious what I made, you can check out the recipe here. They're yumola. And they look so pretty to give too.

Anyhew, I need to leave now to go shopping so I can make it back home for an online seminar at 10AM.

I'll be checking out blogs after that. In the meantime, it's the all-important question of the day:

Heat miser? or Cold miser?

Cold miser! Now I'm in the mood for some chocolate chip cookies and it's only just after eight in the morning.

You've made me crave chocolate chip cookies! Guess I know what I'll be baking later.

Sorry about the sick kid. We're in the same boat at our house. I just got a lot of shopping done on Amazon though :)

Heat miser because I leave my space heater on in my office every day, and everyone comments on how hot my office stays. I hope the kiddo is feeling better!

Heat Miser of course (because I can always remember his part of that song he sings). ;)

Your cookies sound yummy. I'm making 8 dozen tomorrow. Two different kinds. Pray for me - I think I've lost my mind :)

Those cookies look yum! Sorry you didn't win.

I'll go with Heat Miser. I'm not a cold person.

At Christmas time, Cold Miser. Must be cold (and snowy if possible) for Christmas or it doesn't feel like Christmas. The rest of the year, Heat Miser all the way!

Merry Christmas, Jennifer!

I'm very, very late as I have been MIA these last couple of weeks. Hope your kid is feeling much, much better strep is awful.

I will definitely have to check out those cookies, yumola is a terrific adjective. :)

And I am Cold Miser. I love the snow and the crisp cold air. Can't help it.

Cold! But I'm probably just saying that because I'm cold and have given up hope of ever being warm again.

Second place isn't too shabby!

I don't like either. I should live in San Francisco, except for those pesky earthquakes.

Happy New Year!
