The Third Biggest Unveil

I know. You're probably thinking, "Third biggest unveil? What's she talking about?"

Well, my new pendant lights are up, and... I have pictures! (finally)

My second big unveil will be my backsplash--once it's actually installed.
And then my number one biggest unveil will be the new cover of my book.
All very exciting to me!

Also, I wanted to make an announcement. My emails are disappearing. I thought I was accidentally deleting them, but now I'm not so sure... I feel like I'm losing my mind. Did somebody hack my account and is now messing with me? I'm beginning to think so.
So if you've sent me an email and I haven't responded. I may have lost it.

Just saying...

It's not you, it's me.

Anyway...here are the pics:

They're the Benson pendants from Restoration Hardware. (They were on sale)

Now I just have to get rid of that backsplash, get some new curtains, and paint.
And then my kitchen will be complete. Whew!

In other news, we're hosting a Superbowl party. No, I don't have a favorite team to win. And no, I really don't care for football. Funny that. But I do enjoy my hubby's vegetarian chili, which he will be making, in addition to his taco soup.

Go, food!

What do think of my lights?
Also, do you have plans for Superbowl Sunday?

I love the lights. It has that industrial look I like so well.

I'm still mad at you. ;) After seeing the first pictures of your kitchen, I was inspired to go granite too. Installation in ten days.

Can you tell me what brand faucet that is? It looks like one I saw at Home Depot that I thought would look good with our new sink.

Good luck on your email situation. That happened to me too once and then it started working again all by itself.

Yay! Congrats on the lights finally going up. They're stunning. I'm not a football fan either, but there's something about watching the Superbowl with a house full of family and friends, isn't there?

Love the kitchen look!

Cracking me up I didn't even know the Superbowl was coming up! ;) Ha!

And wouldn't that be fun if I just crashed your party. Won't, but would be fun, right? Right? :D

My blog comments are not always showing up according to some who've contacted me on FB. I hate not being able to get messages in any capacity.

Love your lights! Thanks for sharing the pics. Can't wait to see the rest of the kitchen updates and your new cover!

No Super Bowl party here, we have a Bible study that happens to fall on that night. We will probably catch some of the game when we get home. :)

Happy weekend!

What a gorgeous kitchen!!! And Super Bowl plans? Enjoying the game after my kiddos are tucked in bed. Ah, the life of a mom with toddler and preschooler underfoot. Maybe someday I'll get to party again. :)

Your new kitchen lights are gorgeous.

I love football, but since my horse (the Falcons) won't be running in this particular race, I don't give a good diddle who wins. We'll watch, but only with a modicum of interest.

Love your light and your kitchen. Don't really have any plans for the Superbowl. It will be just another day to me since our team isn't in it.

Beautiful lights, they're very sleek. And are those poinsettias I'm seeing, still in bloom? It's nice having a little bit of Christmas still going on ...

I love the pendant lights. I have been looking for new ones and Restoration Hardware is my favorite store, but it is so expensive. I found some inexpensive ones at Cb2. Your kitchen is grogeous. I absolutely love it.

Superbowl Sunday- We will have a crowd at our house as usual (and I will cry that the Saints did not make it.)

The lights are great. I like the look of your kitchen.

Since Super Bowl just finished, I guess I can tell you what I did while it was on. I watched a few of the commercials and a few of the plays in between making a large batch of spaghetti and a crockpot full of chili. I'm planning on freezing the leftovers into lunch size portions and family dinner size portions. Made a couple of pizzas with my son at half time. Also washed dishes in between all of this, too.

My original plans were to write or catch up on some reading while my guys watched the game, but my plans changed a bit, lol.
