Friday FAVORITES #18!

Happy Friday!

Just so you know, my toilets are clean. (I know it's an oxymoron, but they really are!)
We have food in the house! (Thanks for not calling DYFS)
And yes, I worked on editing my WIP. (Not as much as I should have, so it's still a little miffed at me)

Anyhew, I have a new Friday Favorite this week.
Surprise, surprise. Ooh, but it's a good one. :-)

It's another song.

My hubby found it on Rhapsody. He was just fooling around with "If you enjoy... then you'll also enjoy..." function. And they were right! I did enjoy it.

The song is called "The High Road" by Broken Bells. It's a new favorite to listen to when I'm cooking.

Check it out:

(PS. I don't understand the video, but I still love the song)

How about you?
Any new songs out that you like or I should be aware of?

No new songs from me, but I like your selection. Also, I'm happy your toilets are clean. It's the little things in life, right? ;)

I like the music but that was one bizarre video.

Yea for food and clean toilets. And how bizarre to write those two things in the same sentence, LOL.

I missed the video - had to let dogs out and in. But I loved the music!

I Don't get the video either, but the song is catchy. I like the fog and background effects in the video.

Don't have any new songs, sorry.

Baby steps, right? Great job!!

I'm going to share the Broken Bells with my kiddos--they'll think I'm cool! ;)

I love the Train song 50 Ways to Say Goodbye--the lyrics are hilarious!

It feels good to get a lot accomplished, even if everything will be messier again in 24 hours. Enjoy!

I love this song. I bought the album when the single was released a few years ago.

Happy Friday!

This came out in the spring. Maybe you'll like it:

Great song!

And now I must go clean the bathroom. Thanks for reminding me. :)

Neat song, but the video doesn't compute with me, either. Our toilets are clean, but one of the cats just informed me the litter box could use some more attention. (Too bad I'm not smart enough to teach them how to use the toilet...)

Clean toilets, check. Groceries in the house, check minus. Off to the store I go!

My toilets are clean and I just went to the store (no easy feat for a mom with two year old twins!). I have a bridal shower at my house tomorrow, so everything is looking pretty clean. :) But my WIP is sitting all by itself, waiting for me to return. After the shower I hope to attack it!

Thanks for the song.

Maybe you could offer your WIP some money or food or something to appease for a little while!!

Cool song!

U2, Bacon Bros, John Mellencamp always make me happy. (so so clean toilets and good food, since both have come up, lol).
