Déjà vu Blogfest!

Happy Friday!

It's that time of year for a little Déjà vu Blogfest.
Want to join in?
Check out author D L Hammons' blog for more info!

I went WAY BACK. Like December 2008.
Not really my best post, but I thought it was festive and fun.
Ah, 2008.
A time when I used to do the Thursday Thirteen meme posts...
Good times.

I also thought I'd mention that this is my 1,111 blog post.
Yep. That's a lot of blogging. :)

Anyhew...I give you that holiday post now.
You can thank me later.

How cute! I never thought to collect ornaments from places we visit. As a school teacher, most of my ornaments were gifts from students. Seriously, they are. I could decorate TWO trees.

Wow...remember Thursday Thirteen? Does anyone still do that?
Great ornaments, and I do try to pick up one from new places I visit too (not that I really go anywhere...*sigh*)

I never thought about collecting ornaments from the places I've visited. I'll look for an ornament the next time we travel.

This blogfest is a good idea! I'll have to check it out. Enjoyed seeing where you've been. I do like to pick up little items when I travel. Have a cute moose trivet from our trip to Jackson Hole, WY. (Don't you just love that place?:)

Have a great weekend!

Deb: I KNOW! That was a blast from the past when I saw that post I did. LOL

Beautiful ornaments!

We do ornaments for the kids from each year, and occasionally family-together ornaments for the year, plus we have ones from when my wife and I were kids, so our tree is more based on memories of times rather than memories of places.

Happy Do-Over Blogfest!

Happy 1,111! Wish your ornament images were bigger - they all look like keepers.

Great ornament collection. Mine are mostly vintage from my childhood. Really pretty!

My wife collects ornaments from places she's traveled, in fact she has an entire tree decorated with them!

Thank you for taking part today! :)

Cool. Out of all the places I've traveled, I've only been to three of these. It's a big world!

Saying hello from the blogfest...I don't collect ornaments from the places I've visited, but I do collect refrigerator magnets. I guess that's my thing- I always have things to put on the fridge, but never enough magnets!

How fun! I've only gotten ornaments from a couple places. As of this year we collect pins from everywhere we go. Ornaments is a good idea, though.

What a neat idea to collect ornaments from the places you travel. I like all of the ones you show, but my favorite (natch!) is the one from Annapolis. Hmm, i didn't know we could go back earlier than this year for this fest, darn it. A handful of my posts from when I first started at the beginning of last year were poor little orphans left sitting on the shelf without any love. (or comments) Oh well. One of them will work just dandy for next year's fest.

Fun post! It makes me wish I collected ornaments. I try to pick up a postcard here and there.

Happy 1,111th post! That is a lot indeed.

I collect refrigerator magnets from my travels. My fridge is not quite as covered with them as I'd want, but I'm hoping to add more to my collection. Collecting ornaments is a great idea too.

Holy moly! 1,111 posts. That's awesome.

I love the idea of picking up ornaments from places you've visited. Given my love of all things Christmas, I'm smacking myself in the forehead for not doing this myself. LOL.

The Nantucket one was my favorite.

We often collect ornaments when we travel, too. It's a fun way to remember vacations.
