Entangled Under the Mistletoe!
WHAT.
A.
WEEK.
That's all I'm saying. Mom was in the hospital for 3 and 1/2 days, but all is GREAT now.
She's back to her old self and we were able to laugh about everything that went on until we were crying.
But still, it was hectic.

At least I had this to look forward to today:

PS. I have a little confession.
I bought myself a Christmas gift.
Is that wrong?
It was $49 but I got 20% off. Does that make it better?
Well, it's too late. I can't take it back because I already used it. LOL
I bought myself a... Yonanas.
No, seriously.
I love banana whips--which is basically frozen banana "whipped" into a creamy healthy sugar-free dessert. But I found the frozen banana was slowly killing my food processor. :(
Then, I kept seeing this machine advertised in all the catalogs I was getting so I finally decided that I deserved to treat myself--oh, and the family, of course.
Now, I can make creamy ice cream like desserts out of bananas and even sorbets with other frozen fresh fruit. It's easy to clean too, which is a plus.
So far, I'm loving this and happy I bought it for myself.
What about you?
Did you ever buy yourself a gift for Christmas? What did you get yourself?
Have you heard of Yonanas?

I'm glad your Mum is fine now. I laughed when I read about the banana killing your mixer. I've done a similar recipe with my mixer. It does make a lot of noise while turning the banana to pudding. I'd never heard of one of these.
Awwwwww - so glad mum is ok now!!! Yay!!
And I've been buying myself Christmas pressies since December started! LOL!! Yay! take care
x
I'm glad your mom is home from the hospital!!
Your self-gift sounds great. I love frozen bananas, so I'm completely jealous.
What a great idea? I have a smoothie almost every morning - ice, almond milk, banana, unsweetened cocoa powder, unsweetened shaved coconut and a touch of honey. Yum!
Glad I'm not the only one who buys myself gifts. LOL
Julie: that sounds yummy!!
For sure, I have bought, and most probably willbuy, gifts for myself. Last year it was a coffee machine, making espresso.

Glad your mom is OK. Me? I treat myself all the time for things I want. I never heard of a a Yonana. Sounds like fun. I recently bought a juice maker. Here in Mexico, I've become addicted to fresh carrot juice. The carrots taste sweeter and are plentiful.
I buy a gift for myself every year. This year, I bought a spinning Tardis charm for my phone
Glad your mom is doing well now. :)
Hmm...I can't remember the last non-book present I bought myself. But believe me, I buy myself enough books to make up for it.
So glad mom is doing great!
I fully support buying yourself Christmas presents. AND you bought one that is fun to say! Bonus!
Sugar free? I need one of those.
Glad your mom is out of the hospital.
#1. So glad your Mom is getting better :)
#2. I have NEVER heard of Yonanans!!!
#3. Confession time: I bought myself three presents!!! But two I ordered accidentally...true story!!!
Thanks for the great giveaway, I look forward to reading your new book ;)
I've been buying myself a couple books for Christmas. Now I should probably buy something for someone else!!!
Glad to hear your Mom is doing better!
I seriously want a yonanas! I am so jealous -- maybe I will also buy one for myself!!

Glad to hear your Mom is doing well now! Have a great weekend! :)
So glad your Mom is doing better. Scary. This is a new gadget for me. Husband loves bananas...need to check it out :)
Happy Weekend!
Glad all is well now. :) Yes! We deserve to buy gifts that WE want. :)

I have heard of it.
Sometimes I do get myself some things.
Thanks for the chance to win!

I buy myself Christmas presents every year...mainly because my family will never buy me anything on my list.
I buy myself a present each year...I feel I deserve to treat myself...but I wait until Iv'e purchased all the gifts for everyone else to see how much I have left for myself. No, it's not being selfish.

I am so buying that Yonanas! Thanks for the great idea!! I try to treat myself to something every Christmas, but this year I haven't found anything yet... maybe Yonanas is it:)

I destroyed a blender with frozen mango once. It did not sound good.

I am put on a spending hiatus each year from just after Halloween through Christmas. This was because if I wanted something, I would get it for myself. And then no one knew exactly what to get me.
My best gift to myself was my new ereader, the BeBook. LOVE IT!!
Merry Christmas and thanks for the blog stop.

No, first time I heard Yonanas!
I gifted my self with a proper writing table and chair this year!
Glad your mom is feeling better !
I bought myself the second season of Downton Abbey this year :)

I don't usually buy myself gifts, but for the last few years I have been saving my "gifts" so that I could purchase an iPad for myself.
I actually bought a family member a yonanas. I have a child with a dairy, gluten, and nut allergy. This was a perfect gift for him.

I only like bananas in banana nut bread. I think buying yourself a Christmas present is a brilliant idea! Glad your mom is home and doing well. I hope y'all have a Merry Christmas. Thanks for the giveaway!

I have bought myself something for Christmas. It was just a puzzle with cats. No, I haven't ever heard of a yonananas. I do like bananas. I had a friend that made the most delicious cake with butter cream icing using bananas. It was better than sex.
luvfuzzzeeefaces at yahoo dot com
I've heard of Yonanas from the Dr. Oz show.

I always buy myself books as a christmas gift to myself :)
thebookcellarx @ gmail.com
Nope never heard of Yonanas :D but I never get a chance to buy myself christmas gifts either. By the time I buy gifts for everyone else the money is severely dwindled.
Happy holidays!

Thank you :)
I recently saw Yonanas somewhere. Maybe when I was shopping for a new coffee maker since our took a dump. As far as gifts for myself? Not really. My husband gives me money so I can go shopping for myself, but the money is the gift.
Thanks for the giveaway!

I am glad to hear that your mother is doing better. I have never heard of Yonanas; however, it sounds like a useful machine. Maybe I should by myself one for Christmas, if I can find one. : )
