Coming Out of the Dark Ages...
Well, it's probably going to snow--or maybe the apocalypse will finally happen now.
Yes, that's right.
I.
Got.
An IPhone 5.
I know, right? Do I really need it?
Well, YES.
It's sad but when I'm away from my desk too long, things tend to build up.
I've wanted a smartphone for THE longest time. And since all my friends have IPhones, I finally went to the store and got all hooked up.
Now I'm scary.
Bye-bye, pink whatever kind of phone you were. -->
But what's the first thing I did?
I went and added emojis to my keyboard because I HAVE to text with fun little faces. Because that's the way I roll--er, text.
So I only know about 1/10th of what I can really do with this thing. I added Twitter and Facebook apps.
That is all.
Do you have a smartphone?
Any cool/fun apps I should know about?

I got an iPhone 5 too! Have you played with Siri? My friend has Siri saying, "How can I help you, my ladyship?" It's funny
Siri hates me!!! My hubby has no problem. Me? She has no idea what I'm saying. LOL
I'm behind the times with an iphone 4. One of the best apps I have is Key Ring. You take all those cards you get from stores that you scan in at check out to get a deal, scan them into the app. Voila! You don't have to carry around a million cards. Just hand the phone to the clerk to scan your reward card!
Our newspaper just had a big article on Siri--apparently she doesn't understand Southern accents--and people down our way are having lot of problems.
Hubby has the IPhone 5. I have a regular old smartphone.
If you like music, add Shazam. You go to the app and when you hear a song you like but don't know the name, just point your phone to it and it tells you title, date and cover.
Adorable cover!
And I had a flip phone until a few years ago. I'm still in the dark about all the fancy apps on my smartphone. I've got texting down. That counts, right?

I love my emoji's! I have the CATCH app which is really cool for recording ideas and thoughts. You can you hashtags to each recording so later on , sifting through the drivel is easy! :)
Congrats! I got mine last year. (I was waiting for Verizon to carry them so I could dump AT&T.) I don't use as many of the features as I should. My husband just got the 5 and he uses it for everything. Siri is his best friend now.
No cellphone at all for me, but my DIL has a real nice smartphone. Lot of good it does her. The grandkids are always using it to play games. They got tablets loaded with games at Christmas, but they still have a thing about playing with mama's phone. (The screen is always covered with sticky fingerprints.)
I don't blog on Thursdays, but I could mention your book the day BEFORE Valentine's Day... would that work? (I HAVE the book, but haven't read it yet.)
I thought I was the last person on the planet without a smart phone. Now I know I am. Sigh.
P.S., I don't blog on Thursdays, but I'll FB and tweet about it. And I'm already on your blog tour :)
No smart phone for me yet. I'm holding off for as long as I can because I don't want to figure out how to use all those apps. *grin*
Congrats on your new phone! I have an Android, and I love to play Angry Birds on it. I did hear about a word count ap, but since I use a notebook for mine, I don't need it.
I LOVE your Bliss cover! I hope mine is just as pretty.
I got a Samsung and happy with it!
Congrats on the new release, Jennifer!
I must be the only person in the world still using a clam. sigh.
I have an android smartphone and I love it, I tweet and facebook on it. My favorite app is any.do - it's a task list that dings you reminders and you KNOW I need that! :)
