Hey, all! Another new year is upon us! Hope your holidays were fun.

In case you didn't know, I spent Christmas thru New Years in FRANCE.
YES.
Actually, it was my first time to Europe in general. We stayed with a French family, ate what they ate, (see snails below) and they showed us all the touristy things I was dying to see. LOL

Escargots that were delicious!
Our friends took us to a performance at the Opera House one night as a Christmas gift. It was beautiful.

We also went to the Notre-Dame Cathedral.

And of course, you can't go to Paris without seeing this:

You can't get any closer. LOL
So cool! We also went to the Sacré-Cœur and traveled to see Château de Chambord!

We all had a wonderful time. My French is a bit rusty, but one of my goals for 2017 is to work on improving it. I'd love to return to France when the weather is a bit warmer. I hear it's a different experience.

TWO THINGS I did not get a chance to do:
1) see the Mona Lisa. BUMMER!!!! But when you're with two teenagers, you can only visit so many museums.
2) go to the Palace of Versailles. Blame the teenagers again!

Oh well. Next time. :)

Have you ever been to France? What was your favorite part?

Lucky you! I love that you were able to immerse yourself in the culture with a family to help.

I've only been to Italy, but I'm hoping to go to England next year.

Favourite place in France was Nice - Wayne's Bar dancing on the tables (sober!) also a kebab place that put the chips inside (delicious), tried snails and frogs legs (once in a lifetime eat)

I really want to thank Dr Emu for saving my marriage. My wife really treated me badly and left home for almost 3 month this got me sick and confused. Then I told my friend about how my wife has changed towards me. Then she told me to contact Dr Emu that he will help me bring back my wife and change her back to a good woman. I never believed in all this but I gave it a try. Dr Emu casted a spell of return of love on her, and my wife came back home for forgiveness and today we are happy again.
