Merry Christmas!

my tree
Happy Monday-Almost-Christmas!

I have been done shopping and wrapped for days now. My cookies are all baked. Today, I will crank out a few pies, potato pancakes, and the sauce for the crab cakes (AND CLEAN THE HOUSE).

This Christmas has been one of those absolutely "low stress" ones. We decided to do a Pollyanna for the adults on my side of the family and we decided to just go out to a really nice dinner on my hubby's side of the family instead of gifts. It's been awesome.

I know a lot of you have taken off blogging this week (and in some cases, this month) so I'll keep this short.

Amazon has put GEORGIE ON HIS MIND on sale for 99 cents again.
Uh...Merry Christmas to me?

Next week, I have my friend Rula Sinara on my blog. She will be giving away a copy of her upcoming Harlequin Heartwarming release THE PROMISE OF RAIN. So don't miss that.

And reviewer Stella-Ex-Libris is having a LET IT SNOW BOOKS event all this month. There is a rafflecopter going on with a giveaway of  your choice of KISSING KENDALL or A LITTLE BIT CUPID.

And that is it for me.

Have a very Merry Christmas!

Are you cooking for Christmas Eve? (I am) What are you making?

Merry Christmas, Jennifer! I'm doing a turkey for Christmas, but Christmas Eve it's all fancy snacks and watching The Muppet Christmas Carol.

Wow, lots of good news.(Your tree looks gorgeous.)

I'm doing stuffed Cornish game hens with wine-cherry sauce for Christmas, which is actually much easier than it sounds.

Merry Christmas!

Look at your beautiful tree! Awwww it's lovely!!

Yay for such a low stress Christmas! That's the best way to celebrate the festivities really - so long as you are all happy and comfy and with loved ones!

I'm saving all my cooking for Christmas Day! I've totally opted for low maintenance type recipes too! LOL! Have a brilliant Christmas, Jennifer! Take care

Merry Christmas, Jennifer! I'm alone this Christmas, but God-willing, it'll be my last Christmas alone.

Christmas Eve is the traditional Italian Feast of the 7 Fishes. Since I hate most of the traditional fishes, I do a minimal version. Himself is looking for swordfish, but if the price is more than tuition for The Young One, the back up plan is shrimp Creole. Himself requested home-made ravioli with ricotta cheese filling for Christmas dinner. Waiting for the temp to drop a few more degrees so I can make them and store them in the big freezer (sun room). Merry Christmas!

Hopefully you can continue with the low-stress method, for many years. It's the best route, I find.

Thanks for the links. I'll check them out. I'll be going to someone's house, so no cooking.

Happy holidays.

Hi, Jennifer! Making chicken and biscuits for dinner tonight. Never did get any cookies baked. Have all the ingredients, but never found the time or energy to get them made. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
