It’s (Almost) Here!

Tomorrow is the big day — A Little Paris Christmas officially releases! πŸŽ‰ I can hardly believe it’s time to send Sophie, Mason, and one very mischievous dachshund named Gingersnap out into the world.

I’ve been blown away (and a little teary, if I’m honest) reading early reviews. Readers are already falling in love with this small-town holiday rom-com, and their kind words have made my peppermint mocha-fueled heart grow three sizes. πŸ’•

Here’s what a few lovely reviewers had to say:

“Magnifique! USA Today Best-Selling Author Jennifer Shirk has done it again. If you’re looking for a swoony holiday escape, you’ll find it in A Little Paris Christmas. Grab the cocoa and settle in for a delightful treat.”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“A wonderful Christmas story that was a five-star read for me! … I laughed out loud a few times and especially loved the scenes with Gingersnap (who I think I can happily say was my favourite character).”

“Full of Christmas joy and cozy vibes — one of my favourite reads of the 2025 holiday season!”

I can’t wait for you all to experience Sophie’s determined holiday spirit, Mason’s grumpy charm, and of course, Gingersnap’s scene-stealing moments. 🐾

If you’ve ever wanted to cozy up with a sweet romance that feels like a Hallmark movie come to life—with peppermint cocoa, twinkle lights, and second chances—this book was written just for you.

So… warm up your cocoa, fluff your blanket, and get ready to spend the holidays in Paris, Pennsylvania. πŸŽ…❤️

πŸ‘‰ A Little Paris Christmas releases tomorrow!
Add it to your Goodreads shelf [here] or grab your copy first thing in the morning for your next cozy holiday read. :-)

Christmas is coming early! :-)

Christmas is coming a little early this year… because I have a brand-new holiday rom-com releasing soon!

My upcoming book, A Little Paris Christmas, will be out October 28, 2025—just in time to curl up with some cocoa, a blanket, and a swoony small-town romance.

Think: Hallmark vibes, but with more witty banter, a grumpy hero, and a sunshine heroine who refuses to let him hide from the holiday cheer.

And guess what? The COVER is almost ready to reveal! πŸ’œ
Mark your calendars for September 30—I’ll be sharing the official cover, and I cannot wait for you to see it.

For now, here’s a little teaser: this story includes…
❄️ A small town called Paris (Pennsylvania, not France!)
❄️ A horror writer who secretly loves butterscotch shortbread
❄️ A tourism director determined to save her town
❄️ And a dog named Gingersnap who just might steal the show

What’s YOUR favorite kind of holiday romance—grumpy/sunshine, second chance, or friends-to-lovers? Drop your favorite in the comments so I know what you’re reading this season.

Stay tuned—cover reveal is just around the corner!

Resorting to Romance is HERE!

I'm so excited that Resorting to Romance is finally released!

My last book was published in 2019 so I feel as if I'm starting from scratch all over again. A little nerve wracking to say the least!

I cannot thank Entangled Publishing, The Seymour Agency and of course, my agent Lesley Sabga enough. THANK YOU so much for your support and confidence.

I hope you get a chance to pick up this fun, lighthearted beach read and enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

It was supposed to be L.A. attorney Loni Wingate’s perfect day. Instead, she got only chaos and heartbreak. Her fiancΓ© stole her promotion and ended their engagement, leaving her career and her future dangling by a thread. Then when Loni tries to go to her safe place, her family’s quaint North Carolina resort, she finds it’s up for sale.

But Loni didn’t get to where she is without a fight. So if a developer is coming by to assess the property, the place she feels most connected to her long-gone Mama…well, Loni and her sisters will serve up a taste of Southern hospitality he’ll never forget.

Ian Hollowell hasn’t experienced “Southern hospitality” firsthand, but he’s pretty sure this is not it. Between the storage room accommodation, the all-sugar sweet tea, and a lethally hot pepper omelet, he’s getting the sense his welcome is anything but. Still, he didn’t get his ruthless reputation by quitting when the game gets interesting.

Now a round of “keep your enemies close” might be flipped on its head in bestselling author Jennifer Shirk’s sparkling and stirring story about reconsidering the past in order to shape the future. Because sometimes it takes one last resort to find the place—and people—that truly feel like home.
