Thursday Thirteen #31

Thirteen Things I Said
I Wanted For Christmas
-----------------------------------------

1.... socks **NOT white. Pretty ones or some Polartec ones

2.... turtleneck sweater from the Victoria Secret's catalog **It's not just for underwear anymore.

3.... a Red Sox long-sleeved T-shirt** Go Sox!

4.... a Laptop** I've been really good this year. :)

5.... an Alphasmart** A backup idea, in case my hubby doesn't think I've been that good.

6.... Bath & Body soaps and body splashes--preferably in Juniper Breeze or something lilac

7.... a wallet**Any color. With a change purse/no checkbook feature.

8.... a Rachel Ray cookbook** I'm all for good 30 minute meals!

9.... a creme brulee kit** Seriously. I would use this.

10.... a Christmas CD--Josh Groban/Andrea Boccelli/or Martina McBride

11.... an ESV study Bible** I have an NIV version now, but I hear the ESV is the translation to have.

12.... a cupcake carrier** So this room mom will have it a little easier, bringing all those cupcakes to school.

13.... a toaster ** With four extra-wide slots that actually will fit fit a bagel and not just SAY it will fit a bagel.

What do you want for Christmas?

Fly Fusion Pentop Computer. I already know my husband got me a Coach bag and wallet. I haven't looked at them, but he left the bag in the hall closet.

*fingers crossed for your laptop and AlphaSmart*

I love mine! Couldn't write without them. (Okay, I could and would, but I do love them both!!)

Robin L. Rotham said...

Yup, my fingers are crossed for your laptop, too! I don't know if I could live without mine.

I would totally take a creme brulee kit.

As for study bibles, my favorite is the Ryrie NAS.

See my Blog!

(not self-promoting. honest. just an amusing tale)

Well see there is this pink Sony Viao laptop that I would totally take! :-D It has been like ten years now so the best translation on the market may have changed, but the Harper Collins Study bible is fabulous. It's the one I have. I made the dumb mistake of buying a paperback. It needs replacing terribly.

Hey, sox are what my boss asked for. She got cookies instead, but didn't seem to mind.

Good luck! I asked for a laptop too. Sad thing is, I had to pick out which one, sign for it with the UPS man. I asked DH if he wanted me to wrap it too. The hardest thing is letting it sit in the corner until we start dealing with presents. I want it now!

Merry Christmas!

I'm sure you've been very good and santa has appreciated that ;)

Who knew they did cupcake carriers? Not me. LOL about the toaster! Evidently, one size does not fit all!

Good luck with your list! Hope you guys have a great one. We're taking it easy this year on each other and concentrating on kids. I'll probably get a couple of books, a huge fluffy red robe and a new makeup/overnight bag. In-laws are getting me accessories for laptop.

Have a great Christmas!

I'd like a home for Christmas...

otherwise, just a little peace would do.

Am I being too picky??? LOL

Tempest Knight said...

Those Alphasmarts are really something! I hope you get the laptop though. *wg*

Heather said...

Nice wish list, Jennifer! I wouldn't mind an Alphasmart, either, but what Heather is really wanting right now is a new address. I suppose the odds of finding a set of keys to a house in my stocking are pretty slim, huh? Ah well...in that case I'll take the Alphie, a few CDs and some new stamps. ;-)

Merry Christmas!
