Watches (That I Actually Enjoy, Too)

*****************************************

1. Wow! Wow! Wubbzy (What? It's kind of cute)

2. Max and Ruby (I find it very soothing)

3. Veggietales (This show is FUNNY. And it teaches a nice lesson)

4. Zoboomafoo (What? I actually learn stuff from this show. Like what a capibari is)

5. Tom & Jerry (Hey, I used to watch this when I was young, too. Ah, memories...)

6. Lazy Town (I can't be the only mother in America who has a crush on Sportacus)

7. Jimmy Neutron

8. Spongebob! (Nuff said)

9. Camp Lazlo (This is almost as funny as Spongebob)

10. The Backyardigans (The music is nice and catchy)

11. Scooby Doo (Ah, another classic that brings back memories)

12. Fairly Odd Parents (The adult humor keeps me watching)

13. Yogi Bear (I think I have more appreciation for this show now than when I was young)

I saw one episode of Lazy Town and was repulsed. It's among my top ten of creepiest shows I've ever seen. Happy TT.

My daughters are very strict about what my grands watch on TV, and I love how they tell me, "Grandma, we can't watch that show!"

On Saturday mornings Destin MUST watch Thomas the Train. I still can't understand why this show is such a favorite with kids. It's so boring, but then I always thought Mr. Rogers was mind numbingly dull too.

They watch most of those on your list, but can't watch anything on Cartoon Network. I've seen some of the CN shows, and they're either weird or violent.

My youngest is 13--it's been a while since I've watched kids' shows. So I'm surprised to find some are still on.

They never watched Veggietales, but did rent a video a few times. This was probably about a decade ago, but that "Cheeseburger" song still gets stuck in my head at odd moments. :)

I still have to limit myself to what the kids watch, but I haven't heard of a few of these, so they must be moving up a bit as they get older.

What mother isn't? Although I can't stomach Spongebob for more than five minutes. And the Fairly Oddparents are off limits because occasionally they say things I don't want my children repeating.

In addition to some of yours, like the Backyardigans--which I love because they sound and act like multicultural kids--Camp Lazlo, Tom and Jerry, and Veggie Tales, I get a lot of superheroes. Batman, Superman, Transformers, Teen Titans, Kids Next Door (wannabes), even Krypto the Superdog!

LOL!! I can't STAND Max and Ruby.
And Sporticus is a little to....ambivalent for my taste. But the rest are all favorites here.
Especially Spongebob.
"Don't say anything Squidward, remember your Karma."

"The boy cries you a sweater of tears, and you kill him."

I love Tom & Jerry! But I admit to watch the Fairly Oddparents every night. Then I watch South Park. What does that say about me? Hahaha!

I am soooo glad to be out of this stage. I had to suffer through my daughter's fixation with Barney and then my son's love of everything Elmo. Until the grandkids come along (a looooong time from now) Nickelodeon is banished from my television set!

I use to watch Scooby Doo with my daughter, as well as The Smurfs, My Little Ponies, and Care Bears.

Now my granddaughter loves Elmo and I'm watching a lot of Sesame Street and Elmo movies. :)

I've found that I really enjoy The Little Einsteins since seeing DVDs with my two nieces. I like that they incorporate music and art.

I watch Shaun the Sheep but no one forces me. I Heart Shaun.
Scooby doo is a firm favorite. I still love Scooby. I guess I'm a big kid at heart.

OMG, my three year old watches all of those. Plus Dora and Diego. Oh, and Courage the Cowardly Dog. Ever watch that one? Bizarre but amusing.

Only when the grandkids are over *lol*

Our kids have the same taste in TV shows. LOL I love these too!

Boy, I've really fallen behind on these. I've never even heard of half of them. If that doesn't out me as a singleton, nothing does!

Jimmy Neutron Rocks!

The fact that Yogi, Scooby, Tom & Jerry are still around makes me feel not as old...lol. The rest of the new stuff scares me. o.o

When my son was little, Zooboomafoo was Kratts Creatures. Love those Kratt brothers!
