We Have Sound!

MENTAL STATUS: "Relieved". Found out my blog schedule for Samhain is next weekend, not this weekend. Yay!

Well, as you can hear, my blog has sound now. I have music on my MySpace page so I figured I might as well put it here too.

Not sure how I feel about it though...

I mean, you're trying to read and you hear this music playing in your ear. I can't tell if it's annoying or not.

What do you think? Should it stay or go?

To be honest, I hate sites that play music. That includes MySpace. I leave the second I hear music. I don't even like flash menu with mouse click noises.

Yeah, I'm not a music person either, mostly because I play my own music and anything that pops up on a website usually interferes with that.

I like your selection of songs, though! Diana Krall is one of my favs.

I'm going to make this unanimous. Unless it's a music site the music irks me. Like Kristen I always have my own music playing.

So glad to hear I'm not alone! Music on blogs is one of my pet peeves. I'm another one that has music of my own playing - it's like listening to two radio stations at once, very annoying.

Yep... I'm going along with the others... While I really like Josh Groban (that's who is singing to me right now), I typically have my OWN music on and will close right out of sites that have it.

Sorry.

If you can take one more... No music, please. Another reason I stay away from MySpace.

With the increasing mobility of web access, many people may be in places where they want to read your blog but it is not appropriate for music to start blaring out. I always turn music right away, and if there's no way to turn it off, it goes on my list of sites I no longer frequent.
