Where was I?

IN THE NEWS: Portland Police took a waterfront Lady Godiva down a notch this week. Barely. They were getting calls about a nude skater whizzing past tourists and rush-hour commuters. Read more HERE.

I was sent an e-mail about this picture a few days ago. Then I noticed that the news about this has been out since May 2007. What?

So all I really want to know is...

Where was I?

Some Dutch guy builds a replica of Noah's Ark and I'm just finding out about this now? How can that be? I thought it was pretty cool. People can actually tour around in it.

Anyhew, I'm off to a baby shower this morning. Can I tell you how disillusioned I was about boy baby clothes? Bleh. I found out very quickly that they're no fun to shop for at all. Everything was brown or navy. Sheesh!

On the writing front, I wrote and submitted an article for Woman's Day. It's my first, so I'm not expecting too much, but you gotta try and see what happens.

That's pretty cool!

I agree on the baby clothes. My last three grands were boys. The boys stuff is boring, but the outfits for the little chicks are great.

Hope you get the okay on the WD article.

WD? Very cool. I'd like to tour the ark too. I wonder if they furnished it with realistic animal scents? lol

Good luck with the article! And didn't the dutch guy know that Noah's ark only had one window and one door...can you imagine how stinky it was in that place?! And brown and navy are the happening colors!!!

Don't feel bad, I didn't know about the ark either. Good luck with your WW submission - I happen to think it's fabulous! :)
