Writing Goal

MENTAL STATUS: "Excited". The chapter I'm working on is totally clicking with me.
Recent IPod downloads:
"Jump Around" by House of Pain & "Let's Get it Started" by Black Eyed Peas.
Christmas Tree status: Still up. Lights too.

Well, my temporary setback in writing my story seems to be just that.

Temporary. (Yes!)

I'm in the process of finishing up my long chapter four--which was so long it needed to be split to chapter 4 and 5--and I finally feel my characters and story starting to click. I still need to beef it up a little today, but I feel I'm close to having it ready for crit partner perusal.

My goal this week is to beef up chapter four and five and have at least half of chapter 6 completed. Oh, and finish a book I'm reading.

What's your goal this week?

Writing for 16-20 hours total, and exercise 3 times. That's all.

Good luck with Ch. 4, 5 & 6!

Yay! Congrats on the chapter. That's always nice when something just flows.
My goals? Hmmm, I don't know. I guess get one manuscript revised then figure out what I want to write next.

Glad to hear things are clicking again. I can't wait to read the new chapters.

This is today's schedule:

1) shrink the HOT FUN synopsis from six pages down to four;
2) exercise
3) start critting chapters from two of my partners in my other group
4) do a load of laundry
5) read articles in my craft binder
6) babysit the grands while my daughter tutors a student tonight.

I think that's enough ...

LOL. I took my tree down boxing day!

Goals. Hm. My main goal is to make a list of goals. Ya, know, like a reasonable, manageable list! :0

Glad to hear the WIP is coming along! I love when things click, but for me they click and then unclick again several times throughout the first draft process.

Good for you. I decided that I need to chop a good portion of my WIP. I hate cutting words even though I know my book will be better for it!
