Butt In Chair...

IN THE NEWS: 1,725-pound pumpkin takes the prize in Ohio. Read more HERE.

Butt In Chair Fingers On Keyboard:
That will be me today considering I spent a whopping 3 hours and 20 minutes at the hairdresser yesterday. YES!! Honestly, who has that kind of time?
However....
I look gooooooood.
Anyhew, that's it for me. Now that I'm presentable again, I plan on spending this Columbus Day holiday weekend decorating the house for fall and Halloween, shopping, writing, and then going to a party.
See ya Tuesday!

Do you have any plans this long weekend?

Sadly, that's average for a black hair salon ...

I'm babysitting for little D today because his daycare is closed, so I guess I won't be getting too much done today.

Have a great weekend, and drop by my blog for your Fun Friday laugh.

Is it okay for me to write that I HOPE you look good after 3 hours! :D

Date w/ my man tonight, soccer tomorrow and family pictures taken for the first time ever on Sunday after church.

I do the same with my hair appointments, two to three hours, but I enjoy the relaxation.

I plan to clean, clean, and spend time with my family. I am gearing up for NaNoWriMo next month and I want to give my family all of me before November.

Have a great weekend!

I need a haircut in a major way. I might have to follow your example. And I didn't even realize it was a holiday weekend!

When I know I'm going to have a long day at the salon, I take my netbook and write. You'd be amazed at what you can get done.

My weekend plans involve reading my book through once more to make sure I've done enough of the edits my editor asked for so I can get this book back to her.

That's what I tell my hairdresser, who doesn't understand why I color my own hair. It's not the cost, it's the time. I just can't stand spending three hours every six weeks in the freakin' beauty salon when I can do it in a half an hour at home for $8.99. And people are always asking me where I get my hair colored...even hairdressers have complimented it. Loreal Preference, baby!

I blew off my last hair appt so I'm feeling a bit fuzzy.

Not a long weekend for me, but that's okay. Plan to spend time with family, read, and write.

Even writers need some pampering, so chalk that lost 3 hrs to recharging your batteries.

Hope you get lots accomplished today.

Thirteen-year-old baseball tournament. It's supposed to be in the low 40's. I'm not looking forward to it.

What a good do can do for ones ego!!!

And I'm with you on your bio and talking without being interrupted ... although feedback is good too. :}

I must admit, I do love the time I spend at the hair salon. My stylist works out of a spa, so there's always soft music in the background and I feel so pampered! But I'm always astounded when I walk out of there and see how much time has passed by.

This weekend is family, some football watching, and blog reading catch up. Then monday is the U2 concert, woo-hoo.

Good luck with keeping your butt in the chair. :)

Glad you are happy with the results - it was well worth it then.

Hey, the biggest pumpkin is in Ohio - that's awesome. I live in the southern part of Ohio. I didn't realize the prize was $2500.
What I could do with that kind of money - lol
