Don't have a Valentine for Valentine's Day? FEAR NOT!
Since my publisher is hosting a blog hop now (see above), I thought this would be THE perfect time to give to you my personal FAVORITE pick-up lines. Maybe it will help you out.
Mostly likely not
I liked these because I laughed when I read them. And if a guy wasn't serious, but using one of these to make me laugh, then these lines WOULD actually work.
(I must be easy)
Anyhew, here we go:
TOP 5 FAVORITE VALENTINE'S DAY PICK-UP LINES
1)(guy) Hey baby, how much does a polar bear weigh?"
(girl) "I don't know."
(guy)"Neither do I, but it broke the ice."
2)"If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put 'U' and 'I' together."
3)"I lost my phone number, could I borrow yours?"
4) "Your name must be milk. Because you're doing my body good."
5) "Do you believe in love at first sight or should I walk by again?"
LOL! See? I MUST be easy. :-)
PS: #4 has been used for real by a buddy of my husband's. It got mixed results. :D
GIVEAWAY:
For this HOP, I will be giving away an ebook copy of my romantic comedy A Little Bit Cupid.
This contest will end Feb 15th and the winner will be notified Feb 16th.

Has a pick-up line ever worked on you?
Have you heard any good ones? Or...cheesy ones?

When I was quite young I worked in a bank as a teller. One day I was wearing a V-necked T-shirt with a Fruit of the Loom motif on the front. A guy said to me, "I don't know about fruit of the loom, but you're certainly pick of the bunch."
I gaped at him in horror and couldn't count his money fast enough so I could get rid of him!
His pick up line didn't work!!
Those are great! #3 made me laugh!
Shelley: that is hilarious! Yeah, a little creepy but hilarious!
Those are completely awesome!! I'd laugh too :)
I've been married for more than a couple of decades now, so I don't remember any of the lines! :)
I still remember the line from the movie Fletch, said by Chevy Chase - Can I borrow your towel? My car just hit a water buffalo.
Love the pick up lines! Made me laugh! I haven't heard any good ones in a while. (Are there any good ones?) ;)
Hilarious!! I actually had a guy use one on me and I giggled.

Those started my day with a smile.
Sooo funny! I love that your hubby's buddy used the milk line with mixed results!
I married my high-school sweetheart, so I haven't had many lines. They probably all would have worked, though. I've always liked meeting people! Terrible, aren't I?
Polar bear one made me laugh. I happen to really like those crazy cold guys.

Number three made me laugh - love it!
LOVE the pick up lines!
I read "Catch A Mate" by Gena Showalter, and she quoted pick up lines before the beginning of each chapter in that story. It fit the book perfectly, and they were hilarious. The entire book was fun, actually. I think it was her only non-paranormal she ever wrote, but it was one of my favorites.
Hope you have a great Valentine!
Hilarious! I lover the one about milk. Someone used the line, "Hey are you from Tennesee, because you're the only ten I see."
Her reply, "It's Memphis, dumb @*@, so yeah, I'm from Tennessee." LOL
I've always thought #5 was pretty funny. My bro-in-law used to love telling us this pick-up line: "Hey baby, what's your sign? Leo? Roar, baby, roar." - cracked us up, it's so silly!
Oh - forgot my email - kawaii dot katers at gmail dot com
A great smile or humor will get my attention before any pick up line would. Thanks for the giveaway! Happy Valentines!

not a real line, but my hubby did ask if he could take a number to dance with me at a young singles dance where we met...

I don't think so but I did meet my boyfriend at a concert -- just striking up conversation in line :)

not really. They haven't worked on me at least.

Pick up lines are always fun They've never worked on me but the cheesiest and always classic ones are:
"Do you have any [insert ethnicity here] in you?" If you say no.. "Well, would you like to?"
"Are you from Tennessee? Could you're only the ten I see."
"Did it hurt?" Y'all know where I'm going with this one...
Thanks for the giveaway Jennifer!

You're name must be Milk?! Ohmygoodness! HAHAHA! None have ever been used on me, but if a guy had the right approach, I think I'd let him talk to me no matter what stupid thing he said. (I mean, they all are clueless, aren't they?)
;-D
LOL! I love those lines! Especially the polar bear one. Tee-hee.
Shelley: that is hilarious! Yeah, a little creepy but hilarious!

I loved #4. Some guy said a super cheesy pickup line to me once (can't remember what it was now) and I just burst out laughing. So I don't know how often they work but I guess they do get the conversation going

Those pick up lines cracked me up! I especially love the last one. :)
Thanks for the giveaway!

Don't really remember any pick up lines told to me (they must have been totally forgetable).

Good pick-up lines. Humor would definitely break the ice with me, unless it has a sleazy undertone. As best as I can remember...I mean, it's been a looooong time...
I wish I had a line to add, but these are fabulous thank you.

I have fairly long hair and have been told how nice my hair smells, and what do I usually use on it. lol
Love the ones you have! Thank you for the giveaway! wvpamb at gmail dot com
A cheesy pick-up line has not been used on me personally... yet:) But I have heard those in your top 5.

I love the second one
"If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put 'U' and 'I' together."
So cute!!! Thank you for this chance!!!

Hilarious pick up lines! I once had one where I was told I'm the ripest mangoe on the tree! Lol! It didn't work!
What a hoot. #5 would probably work on me (I must be easy too!)
Great lines. Love the first one:)
I bring art into the K-8 classrooms and had an 8th grader say this to me... "Hey, Miss Merritt I'm not allowed to say that you are hot cause I went to the principals office last time - but I am thinking it!
When I recovered enough to pick my jaw up off the floor I laughed until my eyes watered. I sure didn't want to bust him and get him sent to the principal's office...
I love cheesy pick up lines. They are so funny!! The worst one ever used on me was at a bar. The guy told be he wished her were my beer bottle so my lips would be all over him. I was like "Who says that?" Totally creepy!!

Although pick up lines don't work on me, my friends and I like to come up with the cheesiest ones.. such as, if I told you I liked your body, would you hold it against me? (; and tell each other them! Thanks for the chance to win your book! I really want to read it!
