Valentine's Day trivia

Did you know that over 18 BILLION dollars are expected to be spent this year for Valentine's Day?

Yes, it's true. I saw it on the news a few days ago.

Yeah, I'm full of interesting trivia.
In fact, if you would like to hear more AND...want a chance to win a copy of A LITTLE BIT CUPID (yes, apparently, my publisher is sparing no expense on the freebies. LOL) I'm over at my good blogging bud Carol Kilgore's blog: Under the Tiki Hut.

Stop by if you can! :)

My birthday is the 16th, so my husband usually doesn't get me much for Valentine's - he saves it all for my birthday, which is fine with me.

I'm not a big Valentine's Day celebrator, but I love conversation hearts. I'm on my way to check out your guest post.

Are you hiding under snow? Hope you didn't get it bad.

I was walking through Target yesterday amazed at all the Valentine's Day stuff they had. And not just in the seasonal section. There were Valentine's Day piggy banks, Valentine's Day bedding, Valentine's Day dishes... Crazy!

That's a LOT of money on a silly little day. Though, I'd be lying if I said I didn't buy anything for my guy, so I guess I contributed to that ridiculous amount. Oh well. Happy Valentines day!!

I'm with Linda. I LOVE those dysfunctional conversation hearts. They're right up there with some nauseating jelly beans someone told me were available last year. Nothing like worm-flavored dirt jelly beans, I'm sure.

I'm just glad a percentage of that will be on me! LOL

Wo, that's a lot of money. We don't really celebrate Valentine's Day down here, no matter what our local retailers try to tell us :)

Love the dysfunctional valentine hearts. Are those really available??? Not certain what I'd do with them, but I want some. Definitely better to give than to recieve. :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Cool. I've already added to that 18 billion. Bought my sweetie a card and a baggie of chocolates. I know, I'm a heavy spender!

Congrats on all the great book coverage!

18 billion? Wow! Hopping over to Carol's now.

Hmmm...my hubby always waits till the day AFTER Valentine's Day to buy me chocolates. I would consider complaining, except that he gets me a lot more chocolate for half the price! :o)

(I wonder what the stats are for the day after Valentine's Day?)

The amount of information in here is stunning, like you practically wrote the book on the subject. Your blog is great for anyone who wants to understand this subject more.
