I'm back!

Happy Monday!

Glacier Lake
It was nice to take the week off and relax. We actually ended up going out to MONTANA and visiting some friends.
It was my fourth time going out there and always a really fun time.
Basically, we did a lot of hiking and driving, but also threw in a boat tour in the Missouri River and a trolley tour of downtown Helena. Oh, and we went to the Lewis and Clark Caverns too!

I chickened out and did not put Sox in a kennel. I ended up giving him to my mom--who practically begged me to watch him. I don't think she realized how much work watching a puppy would be. She told me she saved his life three times! (She had to fish out two nails and a pin from his mouth) LOL

Hubby and kiddo stocked on beef jerky here!
From our boat tour

He's like a toddler...

But I guess it wasn't too bad because she called yesterday to ask about the dog. (I think she misses him) :)

Anyhew, kiddo starts surf camp this morning and I need to get back to my writing.

Did I miss anything while I was away?
Have you ever been to Montana?

Looks like a fun time was had by all! And Sox sounds like a bit of a handful. But an adorable one. :)

I bet it was a lot of fun. So much clean air.

Your puppy really knows how to get into things.

No Montana for me...yet. But it's on my list.

Re: Sox
It seems I'm always fishing stuff out of puppies' mouths.

Sounds like your mom might want a dog of her own. :)

I've never been to Montana, but would love to go some day. I was gone as well, at folk dance camp, so we've missed the same stuff, whatever that may be.

The Caverns are so fun, how'd you like the 'slide' section?

Gorgeous pics! So pleased to here you had a lovely time. I have fond memories of driving through Montana. We usually don't drive late while traveling, but the roads were so peaceful that we drove right into the sunset and what a BIG sunset!

I'd love to visit Montana someday, but it hasn't happened yet. I'm glad you decided to leave Sox with your mom instead of putting him in the kennel. He wouldn't have gotten nearly as much TLC there.

Never been to Montana, but I'd love to visit one day. Glad you had a great time. I know Sox was happy to see you and covered all of you with puppy kisses!

Glacier Lake looks beautiful.

re Sox: Our puppy is three now and not really a puppy. Yesterday during our walk she picked up an empty yoghurt container that someone had dropped, a hair scrunchie as we passed the school and finally a large teddy bear that a kid had dropped out of its pushchair. She was most upset with me when I took the bear off her :)

I swear you have the most fun. My husband says at least once a week, "We're moving to Montana." I've never been. Neither. Has. He.

Glad you're back!

Sounds like you had a great time! Glad you got to go away. :) Have been in Montana once - when flying to Jackson Hole we had to stop there due to a delay at the JH airport. Didn't get off the plane in MT though. Would love to go back!
