There was a Super Bowl?
Happy Monday, all!
Well, our Super Bowl party was great! However, when I say that I saw NOTHING of the game, I really mean it.
Not one single commercial.
Not the National anthem.
Not the halftime show.
NOTHING.
What happened? All I know is that I ate like a pig and chatted up with friends I haven't seen in awhile. So...good times. :)
Apparently, those Italian sloppy joes I made were a hit. And I made pull-apart touchdown cupcakes that were adorable (if I do say so myself) and yummo! (see above)
Today, I'm finishing up edits so I can get them out the door and then I'm going to do some serious plotting in the next few days for a second book in the series.
This week is my transition week in P90x3, but it was Isometrics today--which is the hardest part of yoga! Some transition... :(
Anyhew, what commercials did I miss? Any really good ones?

The cupcakes look great (and delicious)! My favorite thing about the Super Bowl is the food, too. It was my mom's birthday yesterday, so we had a really fun celebration eating and playing games!
Good luck with your edits!!
Happy reading and writing! from Laura Marcella @ Wavy Lines
Good luck with the edits and plotting! Those cupcakes look cool!
That's how I usually spend my Superbowls. :)
Budweiser hit it out of the park again. Kia and Jaguar also had great commercials.
That's a fun looking cake. Catching up with friend is a great thing to do.
Sounds like the perfect way to "watch" the Super Bowl to me! :)
Good luck with your edits.
Hi, Jennifer,
I read your post below and guess that you didn't see anything of the Super Bowl cuz you were busy being a good hostess.
I could stand to lose some weight, but I'm not envious...really, I'm not. ;)
Those cupcakes look adorable. I didn't watch the super bowl, but I'm looking forward to the start of rugby season. The pre-season games are just starting.
Well you didn't miss anything with the game, that's for sure. It was a shame that it was such a blowout. I saw a handful of commercials but wasn't really impressed. Maybe I missed the really good ones. :) Have a great week!
Some of the commercials were good, others not so much. The game...well, what can I say?
Haha, sounds like you had a good time with friend and scrumptious food!
The cupcakes look good. So creative! There were a few good commercials.
I did exactly the same for Superbowl--saw nothing of it either. ;) Now I want a cupcake...
Sounds like fun and good eats at your house. I spent it with the son, DIL and grandbabies.
