Light Bulb Moment

Well, I started flipping through my folders and came across an old story. (A story that was rejected--for good reason, mind you--but one I happen to still like.) So I decided to re-work it. Yes, the hero is a total jerk. (My one attempt to write an alpha male that backfired horrendously) Yes, their motivations aren't really clear. And yes, the "black moment" was weak, but still...
I think I can fix all that.
My heroine has a new job now--which makes a difference, I assure you. And my hero will be less of an ass. Yes, I think I can do this. The light bulb went on, and I'm excited.
Today I plan on working on this for an hour then it's back to my original story. I have about two more chapters to go before it's complete!

Am working on synopsis for SLAYER #2 & 3. Slayer2 is a little less than 500. I hope to hit about that or less for Slayer3 as well.
I love Alphas! My next hero is going to be a true alpha.
Yesterday I started the first chapter of the sequel to HOT FUN even though I swore I wouldn't write another word until I finished revisions on HOT FUN. I couldn't help it, because I got an idea for the opening scene and had to get it on paper before I lost it.
Today it's back to typing the revisions into HOT FUN.

I finished my inspirational romance but want to get the synopsis done before I send query letters.
Oh, I love dipping into my old stories folder - it is always great to rediscover and then rethink a past work!
