Blogging Challenge Day 2!
Hey, all! It's day two of my blogging challenge, and ... so far so good! :-) B: B is for Birthday! Today is my kiddo's birthday! Woo-hoo!
So... in honor of her big girl birthday, I would like to share some random things about her:
1) Once, when she was three and saw a port-o-potty at the playground, she referred to it as a litter box. (We don't have a cat) :)
2) She recently asked me what the term was for an orphanage for old people. I was like, "You mean a retirement home?" She was, "Oh, yeah, that's it!" Orphanage for old people. That still cracks me up. LOL!
3)She loves soccer, basketball, and surfing.
4) Her favorite foods are sushi, fish tacos, and cupcakes. (like her mama) :-)
5) She used to call Wonton soup: One time soup. LOL
6) She LOVES to read. Her favorite books are the Dear Dumb Diary series.
and (as I always tell her)
7) She is the best gift I ever received.
** will be away all day, so I'll catch up on blogs later this weekend.
Any April birthdays in your family?

Love the 'one time soup'. It's funny how kids hear things sometimes. My, now grown two boys, were the same way.
Kids say the cutest things. I love #2. Orphanage for old people... very funny.
Happy Birthday to her!
Kids are very funny. I keep a notebook where I write all funny things my girls do or say, so I don't forget.
Happy Birthday sweet girl! Have fun on your day trip :O)
Happy Birthday to your cutie pie. Orphanage for old people is going to crack me up all day.
LOL, love the adult orphanage idea, I'll run that one by my grandmother :)
Happy Birthday to the big girl.

Happy Birthday to your little lady! Have a wonderful time at the American Girl store!!!
My father-in-law's birthday is the 11th, and my Poppop celebrates his 84th birthday on the 21st! So there'll be fun get-togethers coming up in my family! :)
Happy birthday to your daughter!! Birthdays are the best.
The litter box comment was the best! But her orphanage connection was brilliant.
Thanks for helping me reach my goal in the Library Loving Challenge at the Write Game this year. I really appreciated your support.
Aww! My princess is 9 y/o and because of the cake you showed on your blog last year (that you baked for DD) I had to bake one for mine too. If I tell her about your shopping trip, I might end up in New York. Probably not a bad deal. ;)
Kids come up with the cutest things.
My nephew and many cousins are born in April.
Happy Birthday to your little one.
I hope she has a good time today.
Very cute about the orphanage. Happy Birthday to your big girl!
Ohhh... I wish my two grown up (21 and 20) girls were little again. I really do! They had A.G. dolls, too. Have the most fun ever!!! Sending cyber confetti your way!
Happy birthday to the little one...that's a really fun store for a little girl...my daughter loved the books, but she was never much of a doll person. Hope you have a great day!
NO, but an aniversary. 8 years this year for me and my hubby
Happy birthday to your daughter! I love those little anecdotes. She sounds wonderful.
Have fun! You, your mom and your "big" girl are so lucky! I've never been to the American Girl store but it sounds like it's a pretty amazing place. What an awesome birthday gift!
Happy birthday to her! I can't believe she likes sushi!
Happy birthday! I hope you had a great time in the city!
