Fourth of July Unplug

Happy Monday, all!

I'm unplugging from blogging this week. I'm super busy --trying to finish up my manuscript and planning lots of fun holiday BBQ stuff.

Looks like we'll be hosting Fourth of July at our house. Then we all walk to the beach to watch the fireworks. Not sure what will be on the menu, but I will definitely be making this dessert: strawberry shortcake trifle.
(It's excellent!)

should be around Twitter and Facebook (although no real promises)

See ya next week!

What are your plans for Fourth of July?

Trifle looks yummy! Going to the Dragons baseball game and watching fireworks after on the 4th. Hope it doesn't rain!!!

Enjoy your Fourth of July. I have friends who will be setting off fireworks (professionally) at the beach and pray they stay safe.

Happy Fourth!
We're having a quiet one, but a busy month with the first of a line of visitors arriving next week.

Our plans include a slow-smoked brisket and watching the local fireworks, which we can see from the middle of our court. Everyone on our street gathers outside with lawn chairs for the show. Fun!
